As a Public Relations Coordinator at Will Gregory PR, I support client campaigns by managing day-to-day communications, drafting press materials, and coordinating media outreach. My role includes building and maintaining relationships with media contacts, assisting with event planning and execution, and monitoring press coverage to ensure strategic goals are met. I also help develop creative content and support brand storytelling to strengthen client visibility and engagement.

Steps of Faith Foundation Featured Event

“Thundergong!” Press Conference

I worked closely with the Steps of Faith Foundation to support the planning and execution of the press conference for their ninth annual Thundergong! benefit concert, featuring Jason Sudeikis, Billy Brimblecom Jr., and other notable participants.

I assisted with day-of media relations by calling news desks the morning of the event to confirm attendance and coordinate coverage, ensuring strong turnout from local media. In addition, I helped set up and organize the press conference space and provided on-site support for various PR needs, contributing to a smooth, professional experience for both media and organizers. This hands-on involvement supported successful coverage of a high-profile philanthropic event and amplified awareness for the foundation’s mission.

Hollywood Casino Weekly Betting Previews

I created a recurring betting preview email for Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway that highlighted football games, NASCAR races, and other major sporting events happening in and around Kansas City. These previews broke down key matchups, storylines, and odds in a clear, engaging way that made betting content accessible and relevant to both media and bettors.

I also developed a dedicated World Cup betting preview for media that focused on the four matches taking place in Kansas City, providing early odds and timely insights to help outlets plan coverage in advance. By delivering localized, data-driven betting content, I helped position Hollywood Casino and Argosy Casino as the go-to Sports Book destination in Missouri and Kansas for football, World Cup matches, and major sporting events in the Kansas City market.

I developed a media advisory for Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway & Humane Society of Greater Kansas City promoting their Candy Canine event and successfully secured media coverage despite an oversaturated news cycle driven by the launch of sports betting in Missouri.

By positioning the event as a community-focused, visually engaging story rather than a traditional casino promotion, I was able to cut through the noise and appeal to local media outlets already inundated with sports betting coverage. This approach resulted in earned media attention that highlighted the casino’s family-friendly initiatives and strengthened its community presence during a highly competitive media landscape.

Argosy Casino Sportsbook Opening Event

I helped organize a media and VIP preview event for The Sportsbook opening at Argosy Casino and Hotel in Kansas City, coordinating targeted outreach to local media and influencers during the competitive rollout of legalized sports betting in Missouri.

As part of this effort, I designed a custom digital invitation in Canva that clearly communicated event details, key messaging, and the exclusivity of the experience, making it easy for media and influencers to understand the news value and attend.

By pairing polished visual assets with strategic media pitching and on-site coordination, we secured coverage that highlighted Argosy’s new sportsbook and its role in Missouri’s newly legalized sports betting market—successfully standing out amid coverage from other major Kansas City casinos launching similar offerings.

Atlas 9 Featured Events

Atlas 9 Opening Press Conference

I assisted in planning and organizing the Atlas9 grand opening press conference, coordinating media outreach to ensure strong attendance from all four major Kansas City news stations, along with additional local media outlets and influencers.

I supported logistics, scheduling, and on-site coordination to create a seamless media experience, while helping position Atlas9 as a must-see cultural destination ahead of its public launch. By proactively engaging reporters and content creators and providing clear event details and visual opportunities, I helped generate widespread local visibility and early buzz for Atlas9 within the Kansas City arts and entertainment community.

Atlas 9 Cinemorphia Media Advisory

I wrote and distributed a press release announcing Atlas9’s Cinemorphia: The Animated Film Festival, a new event designed to spotlight student and emerging filmmakers in animation and experimental media. The release positioned Cinemorphia as a forward-thinking, innovation-driven festival by emphasizing Atlas9’s immersive HOLOMAX projection system and its reimagined 1990s cinema environment.

I crafted clear messaging around the festival’s mission, submission process, and deadlines to encourage participation from schools and artists, while reinforcing Atlas9’s commitment to supporting next-generation talent at the intersection of technology and visual storytelling. This strategic storytelling helped establish Cinemorphia as a distinctive new cultural event within the Kansas City creative community.

I distributed the advisory to all four major Kansas City news stations, additional local media outlets, and targeted influencers to generate awareness and encourage coverage ahead of the event.

Wedding Coordinator - Alli & Jake

Serving as the wedding coordinator for Alli & Jake Britton was especially meaningful to me, as they are longtime family friends. In addition to managing the full scope of day-of coordination, I was deeply invested in ensuring their wedding reflected who they are as a couple.

I worked closely with vendors to confirm details and timelines, coordinated ceremony cues and reception flow, managed décor setup and breakdown, guided the wedding party and family members throughout the day, and handled last-minute adjustments with care and discretion. By acting as a calm, trusted presence behind the scenes, I allowed Alli & Jake, and their families, to stay present and fully enjoy every moment, knowing the logistics were in capable hands.
