During my internship with Parisi Coffee, I had the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations, working directly with professionals in the marketing field. These projects highlight my ability to contribute to communications strategy, content creation, and campaign execution while adapting to the fast-paced demands of professional environments. Each experience sharpened my skills and gave me valuable insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of a communications and marketing professional.

I created an engaging email for Parisi Coffee subscribers introducing the world of coffee varietals. The content highlighted the differences between Arabica and Robusta beans, as well as popular Arabica varietals like Bourbon and Typica. Written in a warm, approachable tone, the email aimed to educate readers while encouraging them to explore Parisi’s product offerings. This project showcased my ability to blend storytelling with brand voice to strengthen customer connection and drive interest in specialty coffee.

Parisi Coffee – Blog Post: "Explore the World of Coffee Varietals"

For this project, I wrote a blog post for Parisi Coffee designed to educate consumers about the coffee varietals the brand offers, including Arabica, Robusta, and several Arabica sub-varietals. The goal was to deepen customer knowledge while connecting these insights directly to Parisi’s products. To ensure the piece reflected the company’s identity, I followed brand guidelines closely, maintained Parisi’s established tone of voice, and fact-checked information thoroughly. This project balanced storytelling and technical accuracy to create content that both informed and engaged readers.

Parisi Coffee Consumer Behavior Breakdown

For this project, I researched and analyzed Parisi Coffee’s target customers, focusing on demographics, consumption habits, and regional markets like Cincinnati, Columbia, and Austin. Using surveys, focus groups, and competitor insights (Verve, Intelligentsia, Caribou), I identified key trends, including the strong specialty coffee consumption among younger Hispanic and African American audiences. I also evaluated brand partnerships, like Sporting KC, for alignment with customer demographics. The findings informed strategic recommendations on engagement, partnerships, and growth opportunities for Parisi Coffee.

This campaign for Parisi Coffee showcased the unique, personal rituals people have around their coffee, from brewing methods to the ambiance they create while enjoying it. I researched coffee traditions from around the world and translated those insights into visually engaging social media content that reflected Parisi’s brand voice and aesthetic. The campaign emphasized storytelling, user-generated content, and immersive visuals to highlight how coffee is more than a beverage, it’s an experience and a daily ritual for consumers.
